Run 1 final GDS

Run 2 schedule

  • Obsolete proposal — 2025-11-07: Tim Ansell expected Run 1 back in March 2026 and asked whether Run 2 should close only after users had working silicon. This was planning, not a commitment. (archive message; Discord)
  • Obsolete estimate — 2026-01-23: June looked likely, but the Run 2 date was still TBD. (archive message; Discord)
  • Obsolete planning aid — 2026-02-10: A schedule spreadsheet was supplied with a warning that dates would change until GF confirmed wafer-out. (archive message; Discord)

Run 3 dates

  • Obsolete estimate — 2026-07-17: Run 3 would likely open August 1 with a mid-December submission date. (archive message; Discord)
  • Final archive decision — 2026-08-03: The pinned launch set early-bird end to 2026-09-30, purchase close to 2026-12-09, and GDS due date to 2026-12-16. (archive message; Discord)

Submission transport and revisions

  • Obsolete guidance — 2025-11-19: Community messages used a test-platform GDS URL plus MD5 or SHA1. (archive message; Discord)
  • Later confirmed procedure — 2026-07-10: The official Run 2 path used project upload, current precheck, order association, CoB selection when applicable, and submitted for manufacturing. (archive message; Discord)
